Michigan Saves – Find the money for clean energy!

Save Money With An Efficient Home

Energy efficient homes are more than just environmentally friendly, they’re cheaper! Modernizing your home helps reduce heating and electric bills and creates long term savings for your family. However, we’re not all in a position where we have the time, money, or energy to make those complicated home improvements. Michigan Saves is an organization that’s focused specifically on solving this problem, and helps you connect with the resources you need to improve your home.

We are Michigan Saves, the nation’s first nonprofit green bank. We are all in on clean energy—efficiency, renewables, diversification, carbon reduction—you name it. We understand the power of clean energy sources and want everyone—no exceptions—to have access to their benefits. But these improvements cost money. That’s where we come in.

Remove Lead From Your Home

From their website: Michigan Saves created the Lead Poisoning Prevention Fund (Lead Fund) to fill a critical gap for homeowners and income-property owners who don’t qualify for free home lead services from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). We’re working to make sure everyone—no exceptions—has peace of mind when it comes to the safety of their homes.
